Specific features and facilities offered to coach tours and group visits by the houses are detailed below.

Browsholme Hall

Guided tours available lasting approximately 1 hour. The tour comprises main hall, library, regency drawing room, portrait gallery, ante room, yellow room and oak parlour. 10 acres of grounds are available to visitors including lawned areas, a formal garden, yew walk, three acre lake and woodland. Tours of the garden available or parties can explore on their own. Self guided garden tours and nature trails are being developed.

Hoghton Tower

Hoghton Tower invites pre-booked groups of 20 or more, for private tours throughout the year, day or evening. On arrival, there is reserved space for your coach at the Gatehouse Tower where you will be met and welcomed by your tour guide who will share with you informative insights of the many dramas and characters who have featured in the history of the Tower. Over the centuries many royal guests have been welcomed and entertained here including James I, William III, George V & Queen Mary and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

View the Banqueting Hall, Staterooms, Underground Passages, Dungeons and Dolls’ House Collection. Visit the gardens with castellated walls and turrets offering magnificent views of Lancashire, the Lake District and North Wales.
